Join Diane Jessup as she takes you step-by-step through training your new cairn puppy. Diane has been training dogs since 1979 when she was certified as a Master Trainer/Instructor for Police K9s at the famous Mandelyn Kennels in California. Since that time, she has put over 70 advanced training titles on her own dogs over the years as well as training and handling her dogs in several major motion pictures, TV series and commercials.
In this series she will show you how to actually shape useful behaviors in puppyhood that will last a lifetime. Using positive marker training will create a bond with your puppy that will surprise you in its depth. You will be spending quality time with your pup while you create useful (and fun) behaviors. "Training Time" will become you and your pup's favorite time of day!
Throughout this series Diane will discuss the basic questions all new puppy owners have... questions about shots, worming, trimming nails, housebreaking, whether a pup should be kept in a "crate" or not, feeding, how to handle puppy biting and creative ways to play with and tire out your pup.
