Dogs Retired or Removed From Breeding Program
DanBar Lady Liberty
Liberty is a big, beautiful girl. Her sire is Kyro European K9 Base (Czech Import) a pure working line dog and her dam is DanBar Ice Cold Katie, a XDog vom Gerautal (German import) daughter. Libby was purchased as a puppy by some Idaho folks who bred her and then decided to dump her and keep one of her pups instead. : ( Since I take back any of my dogs rather than have them just be put up for sale on Craig's List or lord knows what, she came back home. With her outstanding health and large, healthy litters, she was a great asset to my program, but sadly, starting in early 2025 my failing mobility is forcing me to reduce the numbers of Dobermans I can keep. I am very sad to see lovely Libby go, but she is going to a trusted Doberman breeder who will treat her right. It is really tough to part with these friends of mine, but I want them to have more one-on-one time than I can give them.
Int. Ch. XDog vom Gerdautal (German Import)
My first import, I brought XDog over from Germany to breed to my foundation bitches. XDog's sire is the absolutely handsome IDC 2017 Sieger Tahi Rami Jedi, IPO 1, ZTP V1A. His dam was the beautiful Toxic vom Gerdautal, ZTP V1A. I will always be indebted to XDog for giving me my beautiful DanBar Darque Energy and DanBar Ice Cold Katie. When I had done the breedings I wanted to do with him I was very fortunate to find him a great home with Brazen Dobermans here in Washington state, where he still resides as King of their Kennel.
DanBar Soldat Aus Eiche
Producing Soldat was a real labor of love with many bumps along the way. But boy-oh-boy was he worth it.Soldat's sire is the well-known working Doberman (Import from Finland) Way Out West Guilty As Charged, IPO 3, FH, Mondio Ring 1 - quite an accomplishment for a Doberman these days. I was very impressed with "Grecko" and was so glad to have a son from him. Unfortunately, I had to co-own Soldat as I could not keep too many males here, and so Soldat has now moved to Arizona where he is no longer easily accessible to me. Thus are the fortunes of dog breeding. Soldat, like his dad, is a solid, steady dog with great toy drive and a structure to die for. Luckily I was able to get two pups from him out of my Czech import Maulie before he left. They are like precious gems to me.
Int. Ch. DanBar Lord Drago
The Doberman of my dreams.... After retiring, moving, purchasing my foundation bitches and getting ready to start a serious breeding program, I struck gold with my very first litter. I bred Huni to a Polish import, IPO 2 and got a litter of stunning pups. I kept a wonderful male who tagged along after me as if to say, "I am YOUR dog, so don't even think of selling me". This was Lord, and he grew into my absolute vision of what a Doberman should be (albeit a bit oversized at 110 pounds) both in spirit and in body. Over time I learned that the pure show-line European Dobermans are just eaten up with DCM, and I knew the only way to improve things was to import the more heart healthy and long lived pure working lines I discovered in the kennels of two-time world working Doberman champion breeder/trainer Ludek Silhavy. So today I am combining the two lines, working to improve health while retaining the great features of Lord and his show-line kennel mates.
My property shares a boundary with 1000 acres of DNR hunting land, and sadly, early in January 2025, at the age of 7, Lord was gut shot and killed while patrolling his beloved fenced 20 acres he had always been allowed to roam. Some coward ended the life of one of the noblest animals I have ever had the honor to know and love.

Int. Ch. DanBar Hun Siccer
I searched for two years to find Huni and her sister to purchase as my foundation bitches. They both had excellent health testing and their cardiologist raved about their heart health. Unfortunately, Huni's sister Maze was sterile so placed as a pet. Huni more than made up for it, having very large litters, including one of 15 pups! Huni had the sweetest temperament, bombproof and with a fantastic sense of humor. Huni died suddenly at 8 years of age and her autopsy was inconclusive. There were no changes to her heart but I can't rule out ventricular tachycardia. That is why I imported my heart healthy Czech working line dogs to improve health in my line.

Ceci Doberpassion (Import)
I spent a LOT of money importing this dog (including getting scammed $600 for a crate!) and sadly she did not make the cut for being a breeding dog here at DanBar. Sadly, no matter how careful you are, not all pups are going to develop into a dog of breeding quality. Sire: Boddé van de Isegrimhoeve (Lexus les Deux Peupliers, IPO 3, ZTP V1A, SPH 2, X Geena von Warringhof, IPO 3, SPH 2, ZTP V1A)Dam: Noa Du Bois De Liers, ZTP V1A (Briska's Hutch, IPO 2, FH X Hachka Dobry du Bois de Liers, IPO 3)
Gaia vom Zeus Tal (Import)
My second attempt to bring in long lived and healthier working line Dobermans did not produce a dog I felt I wanted to use in my program. A sweet dog, I placed her in a loving home where she was spayed and lives a great life as a much loved pet. Sire: Amatzon von Zeus Tal (Dark Nemo vom Koby Haus, ZTP V1A, IPO 3 X Kobra von der Burgstätte, ZTP G1A, IPO I)Dam: Frida von Zeus Tal (Carat del Pais Baviera X Jotunheim's Umbra)
