DanBar Ranch Health Guarantees  -  Shipping By Air
DanBar Ranch is proud to present a one-of-a-kind health guarantee for our Dobermans and cairn terriers.  I can do this because I have been breeding long enough to KNOW my dogs, and to have made great headway in breeding out genetic disease.  Obviously NO breeder can keep their pups safe from things like cancer or accident. And some diseases, like DCM, are not well understood enough to make elimination possible.  But please be assured that GOOD HEALTH is my number one priority.

SHIPPING BY AIR

There are two possible ways to get your DanBar puppy if you live too far to drive here.
The first is by flying into Portland, Oregon (PDX) and I will meet you (or you can drive out to the ranch, it is 2 hours from PDX) and you can take your pup home on the return flight in a soft carrier under your seat.

The other, just as acceptable way, is to send the pup via cargo. The pup will be be to you in just a few hours and they are never any the worse for wear.  Puppies that age accept it in stride.

CARGO CONSIDERATIONS:

I MOSTLY USE ALASKA AIRLINES. THEY ARE EXCEPTIONAL WITH ANIMALS
YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE COST OF HEALTH CERTIFICATE, CRATE AND SHIPPING
FLIGHTS MUST BE DIRECT! SO YOU MAY NEED TO TRAVEL TO AN AIRPORT WHICH HAS
DIRECT SERVICE FROM PDX.
I HAVE SHIPPED DOGS FOR 40 YEARS WITH NEVER A PROBLEM.

CARGO CONSIDERATIONS:

* I try to use Alaska Airlines when possible. They are exceptional with animals

* You will be responsible for the cost of health certificate, crate/pad and shipping

* I only ship pups DIRECT, so you may need to travel to an airport that has a direct connection with PDX

* I have shipped and traveled with dogs for 4 decades without one issue

* I do NOT allow my pups to be shipped via ground transport

* My Doberman pups are too large to fit under seat after 8 weeks of age
